Sep - Allergy Pills and Alcohol (2011)
Sep - "No More", dir. Andre Rehal.
[DOWNLOAD] SEP - Allergy Pills and Alcohol [WhoIsSep].zip
I don't even remember how I came across this guy Sep's website not too long ago, but I gave in and downloaded his mixtape for no known reason... and I didn't unzip it for a while, didn't think much of it, then I didn't really give it a listen for a while, but today I did. And now I know.
Sep hails from Canada; Allergy Pills and Alcohol is his debut mixtape. In case you don't know about Canadian hip hop -- perhaps you'd be skeptical -- but, it's good -- really good. (Those who are familiar with it will probably recognize "Hot Like Summer".)
The album is jazzy and nicely varied, Sep can surely flow [and freestyle], and most of the tracks are upward of satisfactory... It's got integrity, if you know how I mean, within the context of hip hop music. (The song in the music video is not the best by any means, but the music videos Rehal did for this album are worthy of mention... also it's nice to see a friendly face behind the music.)
